In the preview window, you can make sure your audio and video sound and look good before you join the meeting. First, choose how you want to hear. Select one of the available numbers to join the meeting and when prompted, enter the access code or meeting number and the attendee ID. If you don’t have your attendee ID, press to wait in the lobby until someone in the meeting lets you in. Your attendee ID connects your name in the meeting to your audio.

Click if you want to say hi to everyone when you join. Click if you want to be seen when you join. To connect to a compatible video device, click Use video system. If you’re on the go, you can join your meeting from your Apple or Android phone, tablet or Apple watch using the Webex mobile app. Tap Join meeting in your email invitation when it’s time to join the meeting. Tap Download to install the Webex Meetings app and join the video conference. Edit your name as you want it to appear in the meeting and enter your email address.

Then, check the Remember me check box if you don’t want to have to enter your name again the next time you join a meeting. Tap Sign in so you can access the full list of meeting features.

Or if you just want to join the meeting quickly and don’t need access to all the meetings features, tap Join as a guest. If necessary, enter the meeting password—it’s in the email invitation—and tap OK. Change your audio and video settings before joining your meeting. Make a note of the access code or meeting number and the attendee ID.

You’ll need to enter these numbers to join the meeting. Tap Start video to preview how you’ll look to others before you join the meeting. Click Connect to a device to join the meeting from a compatible video device. Use the web app to join a meeting from your browser. This is the easiest way to join if you’re using a Chromebook, a Linux computer, or you simply don’t want to download anything.

Open your meeting invitation and call one of the numbers under Join by phone. Depending on the host’s meeting plan, your email invite provides a list of call-in numbers,.

Enter your meeting or access code, then press. If you don’t, press to be placed in the meeting lobby where the meeting host can admit you. Join using a computer or mobile device to see what’s being shared in your meeting. You don’t need a Webex account to join meetings that you’re invited to.

You do need an email invitation that provides the information you need to join the meeting. If you have a Webex account, sign in to your Webex site and enter the meeting number in the search box. If you don’t have an account, join by entering the meeting number on webex. The speaker or microphone volume may be low. Adjust your speaker and microphone settings.

An overloaded network can cause poor quality audio or video. Try turning off your video and other devices that may be using a lot of bandwidth. If all else fails, consider dialing into your meeting for audio. If you join from your browser using the web app, you may need to allow Webex to use your microphone.

Join a test meeting to make sure your audio and video devices work as expected before your meeting. When you join a test meeting, it automatically downloads the Webex Meetings app – so it’s easier to join your next meeting. When you click the join link in your email invite, the Webex Meetings app automatically downloads. You can also download it from webex.

If you want to join without downloading anything, join from your browser. You must have a Webex account to set up a meeting. If you don’t have an account, sign up for a free account and get started. You may not be the host of the meeting. If you were invited to the meeting, request the host to record.

If the host is not in the meeting, a cohost will assume the host role and can record. Once the original host joins, they will take back the host role and the ability to record. You can do this through a Windows Server, Virtual Machine, or on a local computer. For this process to work, you need to keep your Zoom API tech running at all times. You can do this on a Windows Server or virtual machine.

This allows you to add provisioning settings for your Cisco room system. Start by signing into Zoom. Make sure you have the name of the room, type of room, serial number, and your device username and password.

Message interoperability connects the messages you send in Webex to Zoom Chat. This means that when you message someone from Webex, and they use Zoom, they still see that message.
