How to show back camera in zoom – how to show back camera in zoom:. Record videos with your iPhone camera

Be aware of your light source. Never set your computer up where there is a bright light source behind you. It might seem like a good idea to arrange yourself in front of a window so that your beautiful backyard is highlighted behind you – but unless you have a lot of light on your face coming from behind your computer to counter the light from the window you will end up being a black blob in front of a bright light.

Use the horizontal mode on your phone. Always use your phone in the horizontal position when you are on a video conference call. When you phone is vertical everyone in your meeting will see huge black bars on either side of you. Your image will always look better using all of the screen not just the middle third. Sound is important. If you are too far away your voice will be too soft. You also need to ensure that you’re using the correct camera for your call.

To check this, press the up arrow beside the Start Video icon and choose the device you want to use. In some cases, your system is blocking the app from accessing your device’s camera. You need to enable camera permissions to fix the camera issue. What You Need to Know. I was worried that the 12V cord would not be long enough because I used the 12V plug in the trunk to power the unit and the cord needs to plug into mirror in the front.

The 12V cord was long enough to run power from back to front. This way I am able to keep my front 12V outlet open to charge me and my passenger cell phones. There is another cord that runs from the mirror to the rear dash cam and that was more than long enough. It was way longer than the 12V power cord, and that is to be expected.

I was able to install the Pormido in less than two hours. I tucked all the cords away into the trim and that part can be a little tough. Pormido provides a plastic tool to help tuck cords into trim. I ended up breaking the tool while tucking the cords, but I still managed to get the cords nicely tucked away without it. When I was done with the install, it looks like it was professionally done, because there are no cords to be seen. Pormido Mirror uses rubber straps to attach to existing mirror.

The unit provides various length straps to be able to attach to any size mirror. The way Pormido designed this unit, from the inside of the car, you can’t tell that it is a mirror strapped onto an existing mirror.

It looks like the Pormido mirror came with the car. The straps do a great job of keeping the unit firmly attached and there is no shaking or vibration of the mirror while driving. Pormido PR kit comes with a 32GB Sandisk memory card, so you can install and record your driving right away.

The unit can support up to GB cards but I haven’t tried it yet. The Menu on this unit is awesome. It is simple yet effective. It doesn’t use wifi, and it’s not going to connect to your smartphone, but it gets the job done. The mirror touch screen responds fast and the unit turns on right away when I start the car. I don’t have to wait for the mirror to warm up or start up, it is super fast when starting the car.

The mirror goes directly to the rear camera screen when I start the car so I can drive right away if I’m in a hurry. The rear view camera is awesome, it can see really well at night and even if a car is right behind you at night with their headlights, the camera can still read the front license plate if they are close enough.

At night, with a regular rearview mirror, sometimes headlights behind you can glare into your mirror and hurt the eyes. Pormido rear camera fixes this, because the glare from headlights can still be seen through the rear camera and into the mirror screen, but they will not be blinding.

The rear view camera is really good at utilizing light at night. Even on a pitch-black road I can see the road behind me at night because my tail lights light up the road behind me and the rear camera uses that light, and you will always see a vehicle behind you at night because of their lights.

You will always pretty much know what vehicles are behind or beside you. But always practice safe driving and double check your blind spots before making lane changes, and backing out, etc.

The rear camera is supposedly waterproof and can be attached to the outside of the car. I put the rear camera on the inside of my car using the double sided sticky that came with the kit. It rained this past week and I was able to see clearly even in the rain. The rear camera looks out the back window and someone might have a problem if the window is wet. I have a rear wiper to keep the window clear in the rain so the camera always has perfect vision of the back.

I really Love the Pormido because it is not a dash cam that attaches to the front window. The front camera is very discreet. This is not the most expensive or the cheapest on the market. It is a very good unit at a reasonable price. Cons: Only problems I have was the rear camera fell off the sticky.

The unit came with another sticky that I am currently using. I bought Gorillaz double sided sticky that I keep in the car in case this other stick tape fails. The plastic trimmer broke but I don’t need it anymore since the unit is installed. If you format the memory card, all files, including saved files will be deleted. Don’t be like Larry.

Take off the blue film tint that is protecting the camera lens when you get the unit. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Translate all reviews to English.

I bought the unit primarily for the backup camera, and was hoping that I could use the screen as an actual reflective mirror with the screen turned off, which didn’t really work out.

Pros: – Image for both front and rear cameras is kind of good. Not great I expected better from Sony sensors but definitely better than some of the cheaper cameras I’ve tried.

Cons: – Biggest fail is that the rear camera is not wide at all. It’s fine to see what’s directly behind the car, but when backing out of parking spot it’s not wide enough to see cars coming your way from the sides. Also, it creates an illusion that you’re about to hit something, when there’s like 3ft of space behind the car – makes it very difficult to tell how much space you actually have to work with, and maneuver in tight spaces – it sort of defeats the whole point of the camera, if it’s not much better than rearview mirror.

But as soon as you turn the car on it turns on and always shows video feed. You can’t shut it off while the car is running unless you pull cables out. That means if the rear camera is mounted low enough just above bumper like in my case , you can no longer rely on an image you’d usually see in your normal rearview mirror, which is placed much higher than backup camera. I will have to find a way to mount both – the regular mirror and the camera, as I’m not ready to just give up my rearview mirror, and downsides of this dashcam don’t make me feel like I can rely on it.

It always records, even if you turn autorecord to ‘Off’. There’s autobrightness option, but no manual adjustment. And can’t choose not to turn on the camera at all, should you want to use it as an actual mirror.

And there’s no setting to configure that. Can’t find any support online to see if the newer firmware would resolve any of the above issues. Can’t comment on: – driving at night – recorded video footage quality – long-term reliability – how it works in extreme termperatures after being left under hot sun in the summer, or in cold winters If it wasn’t for the amount of work that went into installing the camera properly in the car, I’d return it.

I will see if I can get my hands on newer firmware, and will update rating if any of above issues get resolved. After you record a video in Cinematic mode, you can remove or change the effect. See Edit Cinematic mode videos on your iPhone. When you record a video in Slo-mo mode, your video records as normal and you see the slow-motion effect when you play it back.
