They waste time for legit business people who are trying to make a living finding the right people to contact and help solve challenges.

As a salesperson I know its frustrating to hear from 40 people a day but its worse when ZoomInfo has you calling the wrong people forcing them to take 40 calls a day. They are terrible for sales and I am thinking only trash companies use them.

Totally useless, there’s a company with a similar name in another country and they’ve listed a bunch of employees as being under my company with email addresses that are just assumed to be under my domain. Took a month to hear back from them, then they said they would fix it right away, it’s 2 weeks later and there’s another fake employee there.

I’m sure these are just some guys with a server in their basement somewhere! We’re a small firm that thought ZoomInfo could let us grow and cast a wider net. After one year of using ZoomInfo, we can attribute maybe one client to it. Why are the rates so low? I’m guessing companies listed on ZoomInfo are either flooded with emails I mean, all ZoomInfo subscribers emailing the same people. We tried pleading with them to let us out of the contract, but they were adamant that this is impossible, even after we explained that the pandemic basically has almost bankrupted us and we simply cannot afford them.

Right now we have another year to pay, we’ll try pleading with them another time but I doubt we can solve anything. Seems borderline unethical, but definitely not a customer-friendly organization.

Tip for consumers: Be very careful before signing their contract. They also close any opportunity to opt out of auto renewal months ahead of the subscription expiration date.

Products used: ZoomInfo sales intelligence platform. Their product did not generate any new customers; we were not interested in renewing. I was asked by my boss to look into this organization, so I expressed interest on their site. I was then called times a day, often 3 times in a row, and emailed twice a day.

On the 4th day I answered a call and asked not to be contacted over the phone again. I was still contacted repeatedly. I’m currently blocking every number of theirs I can find.

I was planning to use Zoominfo’s service, but their sales tactics have sent me away. I will look for one of their competitors in order to not support this kind of harassment. I don’t know who that works on, but it will not work on me.

Tip for consumers: Don’t support this business. ZoomInfo’s contract is nothing short of predatory and contains a auto-renewal two-months before the term ends. We made the mistake to call the rep and say we didn’t wish to renew but we were told that wasn’t good enough by a written collection later 3 months later. Had to be in writing yep it did say that.

We paid in advance for a year and stopped using the system early because the data was not useful to us. We serve homeless shelters with donated dollars and now we’re sending thousands of dollars to these people and their lawyers and collectors.

Imagine telling these shelters your contribution won’t be coming this month. Don’t get involved with these people. This is not a company but a money scheme of a company. I learn my big lesson with them and so help me God! They overcharged me and even though i asked them numerous times to cancel the contract they refused to do so and wanted me to pay just two hours after asking them to cancel. Then they promised I would pay in installments but contract force i had to pay in full. Worse of all i did not want to renew contract and in the system shows auto renew.

And sent the amount to collections forcing that i have to pay for a service i have never used. Products used: they did not have all that they promised to have. Found my company information on their web site but there was a CEO whom I have never heard of listed to my company. Looks like a site for people or wanabes to try an puff themselves out. Tried to contact this web site, they sent a link for support that dose not work. A human did answer the phone and send a link that also does not work.

I am a small business owner and was engaged by a sales person from Zoominfo, she appears sincere and nice and understand what I needed, she pitched the system and then negotiated a contract that appeared to later when I found out was not what I wanted and it was expensive. As I was passed on by another colleague, he was really rude and did not listen to what I wanted but let me signed another contract which was more expensive.

Then they scheduled an IT person who was rude and only gave me 15 minutes waiting time I was late but he could have waited to consult me as there was a time difference , he never followed up. After 6months, the asked their Lawyers to threatened me to pay for the 2 years contract.

These people remove your listing than put it back up three months later. And you have to have access to your old email address at work to ask to have it removed Thel also defraud their clients by willingly selling outdated or incorrect information and claiming it is new.

Stay away from this company. They are extremely high pressure, rude, and just overall a poor product. A client contacted me today about misinformation posted on Zoom Info. About my company. Derogatory remarks about both the principals and fabricated financials that we have no idea about where this information could of been derived, Obviously fabricated.

You may ask yourself why this is the only review site to show all negative reviews — spend 15 minutes checking Zoominfo’s reviews on G2 and it’s clear they are paying for thousands of fake reviews, if not generating via bot.

Image attached You can also tell the reviews are fake by: the same repeated phrases over and over, inaccurate info several reviews just call it Zoom , the poor and broken english time and time again, and the fact that almost EVERY positive review has a source of “invitation by the seller.

They all give it 1-star. This is an elaborate scheme by Zoominfo to hide the legitimate 1-star reviews. This company is so fraudulent and a total scam. It’s illegal to pay for or produce fake reviews to mislead consumers. Props to sitejabber for apparently having way more stringent qualification to screen out fake reviews. We should all report them to the FTC. I signed up for a free trial. Didn’t get a free trial.

I got called by a dude who wanted to set aside 15 minutes for a videoconference meeting. I agreed to it as I was curious about ZoomInfo. Well, between then and the time of the appointment, I looked them up.

No thanks. So I emailed to let them know I was canceling the meeting. The guy called me from a spoofed number that matched my cell’s area code. Not a ZoomInfo corporate number mind you, a spoofed number close to my cell. Our platform employs automated machine learning to constantly scan corporate websites, news articles, SEC filings, job postings and other sources for information along with our massive growing network of voluntary contributors to update information about companies and contacts.

The contacts and companies are updated as soon we get new information that can be validated for accuracy. We are continuously working on improving our product everyday to better fit the needs of our customers, like yourself.

We always love the chance for customers to speak with our Product team. If you’re interested, please email: colbie. The database of contacts is huge. Some are out of date, but there’s usually someone you can find that fits the profile. Can’t login regularly. I have to reset my password almost every single time.

And even that doesn’t work sometimes and I have to contact customer service. They also have a shady sales process which forces you to cancel your subscription months before it’s actually over otherwise you have to pay for another year.

Not surprising that they have to trap people into giving them money given how terrible their product infrastructure is. Hi Michael, We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience with us. We take this very seriously and would like the chance to speak with you further to see how we can amend this situation. Could you please email me at colbie. Looking forward to connecting with you.

It was great before DiscoverOrg bought them and is surely improving by the day with DiscoverOrg. It is way more accurate than the data offered by other providers. One other tool that helps to narrow down the list of contacts in a larger organization, is to search with filter to find only recently verified contacts. The only other criticism is that unless you pay for a large number of “points” contact that you can download in bulk you are relegated to copy and paste at the individual level.

It was many yeas ago, in fairness to InsideView, but Zoom was far superior in every way. I used Inside view once when I discovered it and subscribed, and a few years later I inherited it when I made a career move. I have been a user for over 6 years and I love the tool. Their customer support is always responsive – although I have rarely ever needed them because the software is very intuitive and always is working just as expected.

The quality of data is top notch. I have used many different sources of marketing data – even worked for 2 of the big players – and the data at ZoomInfo is among the top in quality for B2B.

Their software is extremely easy to use, even with the recent update a couple years ago. I have implemented this solution at new companies I have joined and it is always received as a high-value software that continuously is renewed year over year.

There’s not many cons about this software. This is being really nit-picky but So it is a bit time consuming. If ZoomInfo can find a way to allow you to add custom fields to the data before instantly integrating into CRMs, that would save a lot of time. The value is incredible. The data quality is top in the industry and continually improving and expanding. When I joined Mygo Consulting last year, there was no easy way to get a large number of qualified leads and their contact information, so getting ZoomInfo solved that very quickly.

And Websights solved the issue of identifying visitors to our website. Overall, I have been very satisfied with their platform. There are several features in ZoomInfo that are important to me. The first is the ability to tailor lead lists for email and prospecting campaigns. The next features that I use on a daily basis are Websights and Opportunity Scoops. Websights tells me what companies visited our website, and I recently added Hotjar to show me their activity while they visited.

That gives me the ability to reach out with a very targeted message based on where they went. The opportunity scoops gives me leads that our sales team can get in touch with and talk about how we can help with the upcoming projects that are listed. Two things that I have discussed in the past that I would like to see improved are the technology stacks that ZoomInfo reports in each company. There has been a higher amount of inaccuracy than I used to see. The other improvement would be for more detailed information in the Websights feature.

It is hard to see what pages a visitor went to, which is why we added Hotjar. Both products cost less than ZoomInfo, but neither had all of the features that ZoomInfo offers that were important to me. A must have prospecting tool if you want to target qualified leads with better accuracy. Business problems we are solving: Getting more qualified leads outbound with signals synced to our SF for our marketing to prospect in an automated way Benefits realized: Higher productivity; Better contact rate Overall experience: Excellent.

Most impactful feature of ZoomInfo I would say is its contact and company database which is not only filled with millions of records but also very very accurate. And to top that, they have scoops, and org chart which clearly tells us signals of any new activities going on in our target companies.

And all of this delivered to our inbox every day or as new feeds so we dont need to specifically search for the, Product was very easy to set up, implement, self-train and use consistently. There are few features within ZoomInfo-SF integration wherein some of the field values in ZoomInfo are not customisable and thus we have to do a small bit of workaround to get that integrated with SF.

Moreover, I would love if the contacts export limitation is increased without extra charge or made free to sue just like their legacy platform. Mohammad Bilawal. They integrate with the majority of the CRM’s for us they have integrated with Hubspot and salesforce, they have been very easy to use no doubt.

All the features and functionality have been in one place. They have been pricey, restricted intent topics, outdated data and mostly the data is not active and also no research on-demand feature.

We love ZoomInfo, you can do a trial in the beginning to dip your toes in the water and see how you like it, but again they really do work with you on pricing if that is what is deterring you from trying out this software.

We absolutely could not live without ZoomInfo! This software has made such a huge impact on our business, it is so easy to use and they really work with you on pricing if necessary!

It has helped out recruiters reach out to many hiring managers directly. I would say pricing is a little bit high, but again you get what you pay for! It’s cool but lacks some meat. Engage is in its infancy compared to other software programs out there. ZoomInfo has eliminated most of our other tools, it is where I go to verify existing information I may have on accounts and it has streamlined my prospecting process. I have used many tools similar to ZoomInfo, but none are as accurate and detailed as ZoomInfo.

I’m in a sales role, and spend many hours prospecting into companies to find accounts, titles, use cases, etc. ZoomInfo lets me filter very specific parameters for my searches and has lead to the most accurate information, which gives me great lead conversion. I haven’t had any issues with ZoomInfo, if you don’t have the budget for buying more of their ‘tokens’ then it can be hard to pull mass amounts of contacts for events or general prospecting.

But, it is worth every penny for our sales team. I am using ZoomInfo for last 5 years from previous company and also using in my present company. It has great experience to use Intent, Scoops section, Enhance section. All these features are very useful. Very much satisfied and I will definitely suggest zoomInfo to others, my friends, colleagues.

I like the scoops and Intent section very much. Scoops and Intent Signals helps us to find out most relevant and needy business via good leads and companies. It is very easy to use scoops and Intent section to prepare the companies list or contacts list.

It helps a lot to our company. Most of the contacts does not have direct or mobile numbers so we are facing difficulties to connect with prospect or targeted customers of those region. All other is set. We have also managed to discover new companies in our target market to prospect to and have managed to enrich our existing data with some critical data points like Industry, Segment, Job role etc.

The amount of data points available for each Company and contact in large allowing us to segment and enrich data in different ways. Zoominfo also has a huge database of companies and contacts which aids in contact discovery and growth in the contact database.

The google chrome extension is also very helpful to quickly search for a prospect on the go and the UI is very user friendly. Their Salesforce integration seems very clunky. You cannot sync data to Salesforce unless you use up your allocated credits which is a problem. Data enrichment should occur in the background and not take up credits in my opinion. It was an easy choice. Clearbit did not have company and contact data for the target market we wanted to reach out to.

Don’t sign up for zoom as you will regret it. Very deceptive sales tactics. Auto-renew is one of them with no room to cancel even 45 days prior to renewal.

They reach out to schedule a renewal talk and schedule it for after the auto renew date. I enjoyed the service but cannot stand their business practices and will never work with them or any company that operates in this manner.

Their attorney Alexis Demoulas perpetuates their unethical tactics by trying to enforce their contracts. Shame on you and Zoom for this behavior. The amount of data we get from ZoomInfo is amazing! Our reps have more than doubled their output since we got the software – can’t imagine not having it now! I am horrified to receive an email from this company, I don’t know how they got hold of my email address, they are now threatening to sell it on unless I click on links to get removed.

All cyber security advice says don’t click on links. I found the email address for removal and have sent request, but have no idea how they got my entirely private email address.

GDPR breach somewhere here, or cyber theft. I received a totally unexpected email from these people in the first place, which is why my review is here. I have absolutely no idea how they got my details GDPR breach? I don’t want my data sold. I have never opted in for anything like this and opt in is legally required here int he UK to be contacted AGAIN is harassment and to be asked for “a little more information” is further unwelcome intrusion.

Who are these people? The email received said: “Personal Information Notice This notice is to inform you of the collection, processing, and sale of certain personal information or personal data about you “personal information”.

ZoomInfo is a provider of contact and business personal information regarding business professionals for direct marketing purposes.

Our customers are businesses trying to reach business professionals for sales and marketing and recruiting. You can opt out of our database if you want to; the best way to do so is to visit our Privacy Center at Are they registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office?

Took my info in GDPR breach, wont let me delete or remove my data. Page just crashes. Disgusting company who violate privacy laws and sell your personal contact details to organisations for a profit.

This company has somehow been able to locate my PRIVATE mobile number and has sold it to agencies and other businesses who keep contacting me throughout the day. Repeated complaints to them have been ignored and I’m on the verge of filing a case for damages against them. I’ve attempted to contact ZoomInfo directly using the details on their website and included their president and chief information officer but I’ve had no response. I’ve formally requested a report on where they obtained my personal information, as is my legal right as a UK citizen and protected by GDPR, but they have ignored this request.

As with other reviewers, they have obtained my personal data and are processing and selling this without my explicit consent, which is against the law in the UK. I am STILL receiving phone calls at all hours from companies who have paid this organisation for my personal contact details. I’ve now reached out for legal representation as this is a clear case of privacy invasion and harrassment, and would strongly suggest everyone do the same. Kings of Spam.

Words fail me–was looking for an email address and made the mistake of giving them my contact information for “a free trial. And even worse, they appear to have sold that number to a large number of other business who are now also calling. And they just tried LinkedIn and are really proud of themselves for being really persistent.

The word I would use is harassment. Great way to source new prospects. Impressive insights and my experience with the sales and customer service team has been top notch. We were baited in as many were here with promises of the Earth, only to have the products stripped back when actually paying.

It’s illegal to pay for or produce fake reviews to mislead consumers. Props to sitejabber for apparently having way more stringent qualification to screen out fake reviews. No thanks. So I emailed to let them know I was canceling the meeting. The guy called me from a spoofed number that matched my cell’s area code.

Not a ZoomInfo corporate number mind you, a spoofed number close to my cell. I usually regard those as spam, so I sent it to voicemail. Asked about rescheduling. I said, “So you call someone who’s business you want from a spoofed number? Thanks but no thanks. Haven’t heard from them since. But given the reviews here, I am guessing I might be harassed throughout the week. Not professional. He also had no idea what my position was at a hotel Corporate Travel Sales Manager but insists that thousands of hotels use them.

If plenty of hotels use you it’s mainly for leads of corporate travelers to try and secure business. He didn’t even bother to show me how the platform worked and instead ended the call abruptly saying let’s not waste anyones time. Horrible sales and customer service. Quite a joke. Zooming gathers incorrect information on business revenue, business addresses, employee names, and more.

It is all wrong. They are a complete joke and should be shut down. It should be illegal to do that they do. Someone needs to lock them up. I made the mistake of signing up for a free trial. Don’t do it! They hound you on the phone constantly.

Call after call from different numbers. I eventually downloaded a RoboKiller app and now let that answer them Tip for consumers: Do not sign up for the free trial – you will never get rid of them!

This is a bunch of low lives. They spidered our site and made up fake info about us. It’s just a fraud masquerading as a legit business. We tried contacting them to no avail. If it is correct data, you’re helping their scheme. Or if you do sign up, consider writing false data.

Feed them their own medicine. Hello Josie, I am very sorry to hear about your negative experience. Companies are able to claim their profiles and verify if it is up-to-date information. Zoominfo is more interested in enforcing their auto renew clause than actually working with their clients.

You will not hear from your customer service rep until AFTER the renewal clause date has come and gone. They are not interested in finding out whether your company is using the tool or if you are dissatisfied with it. They are interested in the renewal clause. Check BBB rating. They stole your personal informaiton, post on their website for profit and refuse to delete it! I have contacted them many times and request they delete my personal cell phone and email info.

But got no response at all! Zoominfo go to hell! Recently talked to one of their sales reps closer. I felt like I was dealing with a car salesman or timeshare closer 25 years ago. He bad mouthed their competition and tried to get me to commit to 15 k on the spot. Historically companies with this old style sales approach are trying to cover up flawed products or services. The salesman was probably a proud graduate of Trump University.

Have not heard from Zoominfo in over a year and now they are threatening me with collections and auto renewing my account. Awful business practice. Buyer beware. I just heard from my attorney on the final offer from Zoom info. This is Monday so I have to use my payroll and rent to pay them off. I will be very happy if I can keep anyone from going through this with this company.

Do your research and use someone else. Since my last review I have hired an attorney to try and settle my account with Zoominfo. They will not just cancel the contract so they sent a collection agency after me. They do not discuss that you cannot cancel the program if you are not satisfied and they do not tell you about needing 60 days’ notice if you are not going to renew. If you miss the 60 day window, they auto-renew you and you cannot get out of it.

Through my attorney, we made a reasonable offer to settle since I’ve already paid a quarter of the contract and I haven’t used my credits 7 months, but they rejected it.

They don’t care about being in a pandemic and I would have to borrow money to pay this off. Look at their competitors that are less expensive and may offer a month-to-month service rather than being locked in for a full year with no way out. The accuracy of their contact data is pretty good. Their company data is really good. Integration with Salesforce is pretty straightforward. Lots of features and capabilities to choose from. Customer support takes a long time. Their contact data is not always up to date especially with linkedin.

Enrichment feature has been failing recently. They included other products which we were also in the market for Industry: Financial Services. ZoomInfo allows endless, accurate, quality prospecting for the sales process. It is frequently updated, kept sharp, and easy to use. I like the additional browser extension which allows you to search for contacts real time on whatever internet page you are on.

Sometimes it slows down my computer. Sometimes contacts and company pages are outdated and inaccurate. Luckily, you can submit a ticket for internal review to check on the status of a contact and see up to date information. Industry: Marketing and Advertising. Receive real-time streaming buyer intent signals to be the first company to contact the lead and win their business.

Industry: Information Technology and Services. Zoominfo has been an incredible resource. I have implemented at 3 different sales departments and will continue to require it as part of my sales tool set. I was surprised to find that in outing previous contact databases for Zoominfo, the company was paying about the same, if not more, for databases of half the size and little-to-no direct contact info. The accuracy of the data. Zoominfo has more direct dials, including cell phone numbers and desk extensions, than any contact database on the market.

Zoominfo has very detailed data across all firmographics, but their employee count for small businesses between employees is often inaccurate. For instance, in populating a list of companies with 10 or more employees, a lot of those person companies may only have one or two Not a big deal, in considering their accuracy for companies with over 20 employees and all the other pros. It use to be a ‘steal’, but the pricing has continued to increase since Discoverorg purchased it.

Still a very reasonable price for it’s value, but it is becoming frustrating as the costs continue to increase significantly. Rainking does not have the same depth for contacts. It has extensive contacts within IT departments and identifies c-level contacts at a lot of companies, but not nearly as extensive of a database. Worth considering if only targeting IT professions. Has the same comparable level of direct contact info and a cool feature for viewing department diagrams for hierarchy of employees.

For reasons stated above. Zoominfo has far greater direct contact info. Insideview is comparable for emails although not as accurate , but can not be compared for direct phone numbers they mainly only provide company phone. I don’t know what I would do without Zoom. This came up at our company conference. A necessity for remote work. Zero qualms. I used to experience some issues with recordings, but they seemed to have fixed that as I haven’t experienced that in months now.

If ZoomInfo can’t find it, I don’t think it exists. Apollo doesn’t give you as many credits and I found most of the information they gave wasn’t accurate.

Overall it has been helpful as a sales rep that is looking for leads and info about the contacts. The information needs to be better though. Linkedin has helped more in some cases. I like that the software is easy to use and manage contacts. Its set up is nice and the advanced search tools are nice. It overall has been a pleasant experience. The chrome extension has also been helpful in my hunt for new clients.

I dislike that the information is outdated. Its a good starting point but I wish they would scrub the lists better or at least allow users to suggest adding contacts etc. ZoomInfo has the largest database of companies, contacts in the USA, it helps our sales team, who are working with the US, to get relevant contact information and most importantly, the tool helps us to get direct dials. Software is very easy to use, it integrates with all of the most popular sales technology tools like Salesforce, Linkedin, Outreach and etc.

The best thing about Zoominfo is their largest database of companies, contacts in the United States. Like with all similar tools, sometimes data is inaccurate, outdated or there is no data at all. Moreover, their support is very slow and not very helpful. Moreover, the data quality in Europe is poor, we need to use another tool Congism for Europe.
