I need something similar but for my 4K display, I tried to change it like that from the current master:. Even if in macOS I put back x for the second screen, it stay black. I’m using macOS Zlitus 4K will never work, for the simple reason that the Pi can only HW decode H up to p 30, 50fps if overclocked.

The H decode block in the SoC has not been changed since the first Pis. Additionally, I’m not sure if 4K is supported by the AirPlay protocol at all. Someone would have to test this on an AppleTV 4K. Just after my message I had an idea, I thought than maybe, the problem was actually not related to RPiPlay but to a bad detection of my screen by raspbian or something.

So I tried the same thing with Ubuntu Desktop and it is actually working, but you’re right: It is very slow I would say, watching the clock on macOS, than every second I got 2sec of delay in the airplay-mirrored 4K. And just another related question, I saw than the Pi4b is capable of decoding 4K video at 60fps when we use a h stream, and for what I see, Apple on recent AppleTV now use h streams with Airplay. Do you think it would be possible to make RPiPlay compatible with h?

Screen’s description as reported by the iPad after screen mirroring is started, with default configuration:. Once I recompiled, I got this instead of a proper image: Notice that there is a tiny bit of the actual interface – app icons – visible in between all the artifacts. This usually happens only for a split second after iPad’s screen changes. After a split second, the little bit of actual screen content disappears and only artifacts are left. These artifacts flicker and change even when iPad’s screen doesn’t change.

The screen is now recognized by the iPad as having the correct resolution, despite the mess that gets displayed. Any idea what could be causing these artifacts? UPDATE: To rule out some weird bug in Raspbian, I compiled rpiplay on Ubuntu Server running on Pi 4 and the result is the same – until p all works great, once I increase the resolution to x the artifacts come in. After some more experimentation, I discovered that mirroring devices in portrait orientation works even when RPiPlay is compiled for the x display.

Could there be some sort of video buffer that is overflowing? The mirrored video in landscape mode does not have to be scaled down as much compared to the portrait orientation, meaning that more non-black pixels have to be rendered, potentially causing this issue. It is no longer 1-to-1 but pixels in width are stretched to pixels. What I want is to have exactly pixels such that I can see on my screen exactly the same I have on the beamer.

No, I heard of software that can trick the screen into thinking its bigger so that it compresses the screen. As an example: There is a site called “Webkinz” that my daughter has tried to play on her Acer Aspire 124×600. The site uses Adobe Increas, and the site resolution is set at x Her resolution is x, and the bottom of the screen is cut off.

The window frame is fixed, so you cannot resize /3022.txt even move the window, and as a result, the game is unusable because all of the game controls are in the section that is cut off. It is a very u programming job how can i increase my screen resolution from 1024×600 – none: by Webkinz, and they have no fix for it. There are several other games out there cann require a x resolution screem greater and will not operate unless it is detected.

This is why you would want to downscale your screen Reducing the resolution to x would have no effect on this, since these games cannot run on that resolution.

I would even be happy with a scrolling display, since the horizontal pixel resolution детальнее на этой странице correct. I am sure my daughter would not mind scrolling down to get to those controls that are otherwise right not accessible.

There is a program called “a1ctl” you scrren have to google itthat allows for both downsizing and scrolling to get нажмите чтобы увидеть больше display from x to x The problem is that it only can change the resolution in Windows XP.

For those of how do you change how long your computer screen stays on using Windows 7, there really isn’t anything out there yet, to the best of my knowledge. I am hopefully looking, though. That is the only thing hoow has personally kept me from buying one.

My daughter, with the exceptions of what I said above, loves infrease. If anyone comes across anything to fix this, please post it here, and I will do the same. Craig Thanks for the info, but i’d have to say that on my Acer Aspire One running Windows 7 not by jone: the resolution is still maxed out at X In reply to Philinx’s post on January 13, I have a similar problem, to get my net book to work on my tv, I need the screen resolution to be x This site in other приведу ссылку x.

Illydth Member, Developer Posts: 1, To screeen honest this was the first time I’d heard of x as a viable resolution I actually had to look up whether this was or wasn’t a true resolution to a screen. I’m making the guess here that the x is not supported by the /4680.txt. Have you looked online for how how can i increase my screen resolution from 1024×600 – none: increase screwn resolution to x?
